CIPE | Transition Towards Smart Metering Phase 2

Scope of Work and Project Objectives:

The overall goal of this project is to develop a dissemination plan and media campaign to identify policies and regulations associated with best practices worldwide in order to support the growing interest in smart metering transition among private enterprises, government leaders, and society in general, this project also will intend to increase public understanding and appreciation of the role of the local enterprises in economic growth and to promote business participation in democratic political and policy processes to support the renewable energy sector. The objectives of this project are :

• Scale up the advocacy efforts in order to promote the outputs and outcomes for the phase I Policy Paper
• Highlight the Integrated Grid Innovative solutions post achieving the Smart meters’ transition.
• Develop relationships among the Academia, and the private sector to provide the suitable methods to exchange experience in smart meters transition
• Increase public understanding of the smart meter’s technology and its benefits
