The Water Authority and Philadelphia Solar sign a project to establish an energy storage system with a grant from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The agreement includes the installation of an energy storage system with a capacity of 15.52 MWh, along with operation and maintenance works, contributing to improved energy efficiency and enhancing the sustainability of operational processes in the water sector. The project will be executed by a joint consortium comprising Philadelphia Solar and CHINT, led by Philadelphia Solar.

This project comes as part of the Water Authority of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to adopt modern energy solutions, reduce operational costs, and enhance the reliability and sustainability of water services across the Kingdom of Jordan.
