We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Officer to join our team under the EuropeAid/174783/DD/ACT/JO_GreenLinks project, focusing on environmental sustainability in Azraq, Jordan.
Position Overview:
As a Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Green Links project. This initiative aims to enhance environmental sustainability and community development in the Azraq region. The role involves extensive research, project coordination, and close collaboration with stakeholders. The selected candidate will be expected to undertake occasional travels to the project site in Azraq.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and NGO’s.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives and EU regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports in accordance with EU reporting standards.
- Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations to the project team.
- Facilitate communication and information sharing among project partners and stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
- Undertake site visits to Azraq for project monitoring, evaluation, and reallocation purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or any related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in video creation and editing, with a solid understanding of multimedia tools and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to create clear and compelling content for diverse audiences.
