EDAMA Association Launches Training for Women Entrepreneurs in Green and Circular Economy under the Women on the Green Path Project

EDAMA Association has launched a dynamic training program aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in the green and circular economy, as part of the Women on the Green Path project. The program, which runs from February to April 2025, offers intensive in-class and online training sessions designed to equip participants with essential skills, practical tools, and one-on-one coaching to support their green and circular projects.

The training will empower 20 women entrepreneurs from Jordan, particularly those leading or co-owning businesses and initiatives focused on sustainable practices including recycling textile waste, managing food waste, and repurposing EV batteries. Under the guidance of expert facilitators, they will explore key areas such as soft skills, sustainable development, green business models, sustainable finance, and market access strategies. This comprehensive approach will enable them to effectively integrate sustainable practices into their businesses and enhance the impact of their projects.

Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to present their green business ideas to a panel of experts and a committee. This presentation will provide women entrepreneurs the chance to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, highlight the potential impact of their ventures, and compete for support to further scale their projects.

The project is supported by GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, the Agencia Española de Cooperación para el Desarrollo (AECID), and the Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat (UFM).
