EDAMA Association Holds Its Annual General Meeting


EDAMA Association for Energy, Water, and Environment held its regular annual general meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. During the meeting, the financial and administrative reports of the Board of Directors were approved, along with the financial statements for the year ending 2024.

The meeting was chaired by EDAMA Chairman Dr. Dureid Mahasneh, in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Environment, where he presented to the General Assembly and the association members the most prominent achievements of the association during the past year, in addition to its future plans in the sectors of energy, water, and the environment.

It is worth noting that EDAMA Association is a non-profit Jordanian business association founded in 2009. It focuses on the sustainability of energy, water, and the environment, and seeks to create a stimulating environment for the green economy, including increasing the use of alternative energy, especially renewable energy. EDAMA also aims to encourage scientific research, innovation, and the development and commercialization of Jordanian technology in the fields of water, environment, and energy.

The association also works to raise public awareness and support policies that contribute to advancing these sectors towards more sustainable development in Jordan. Currently, EDAMA includes 58 companies operating in the fields of energy, water, environment, and economic development. The association offers a number of internationally accredited specialized training courses in energy management and renewable energy.
