Dr. Maher Matalka was elected Chairman of the EDAMA Board of Directors in August 2012. He is also a board member and co-founder of ConsultUs, a leading regional consulting firm, and Clean Energy Concepts (CEC), a renewable energy company.

Dr. Matalka previously served as CEO of the International Pharmaceutical Research Center (IPRC) from 2009 to 2011, a leading regional contract research organization. He also held the role of Director of the Economic Affairs Directorate at the Royal Hashemite Court from 2006 to 2008, where he was the Rapporteur of the Royal Commissions on Energy and Water.

Dr. Matalka has held various prominent positions, including Director of the Economic and Commerce Bureau at the Jordanian embassy in Washington, D.C., and Secretary General of the Jordanian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (JAPM).
