Jordan is witnessing instability in the public transportation sector. The protest is in reference to the successive rise occurring on the prices of fuel, specifically on diesel. This comes in conjunction with the low public transportation fares in comparison with the high cost of operating transportation vehicles which also includes the transportation of goods. This matter has the drivers of public buses and cargo trucks participating in the strike. This led to the disruption of the process of citizens movement and the accumulation of goods on the docks of Aqaba Gulf ports, sequentially leading to a stagnation in the transport and production operations.<\/p>
