EDAMA Association launches a call for an Expert for Conducting Renewable Energy Policy Analysis, Employment Impact Assessment, and Stakeholder Dialogue in Jordan. The project aims to enhance resilient market systems for the youth livelihoods of Syrian refugees and Jordanians. It focuses on solar PV and battery storage deployment, enterprise competitiveness, and green job creation. Through renewable energy policy analysis, employment impact assessment, and structured stakeholder dialogue, the project strengthens the evidence base, raises awareness, and supports policy integration toward an inclusive green economy.

The expert will assess the employment potential of Jordan’s renewable energy sector (solar PV and battery storage) by estimating direct, indirect, and spill-over job creation under different growth scenarios, identifying skills gaps and working conditions, and examining inclusion opportunities for Syrian refugees and women; lead approved stakeholder consultations with enterprises, unions, and public institutions to validate findings; and deliver a series of reports culminating in evidence-based policy recommendations to boost green job creation and enterprise competitiveness.

Requests for clarification must be submitted in writing by email ONLY to [email protected] no later than 29 September 2026.
